Bike Riding Through the Russian River Region
This breathtaking bike ride is a 20.5 mile ride through the tall redwoods. Directions to get you there and back; take River Road going west for 3 miles to Austin Creek Road going North for 6 miles until you get to Kramer Road. Make a right on Kramer Road to Cazadero Highway. When you get to Cazadero Highway, make a left. Go half a mile to Cazadero. Go 6 miles on Cazadero Highway to River Road. Make a right. One mile later, you’ll hit Duncan’s Mills. Make a left across Russian River and on Moscow Road back to Monte Rio for 3 miles. Left across Russian River on Main Street will bring you back to where you started. The points of interest is the redwoods, the Cazadero General Store, and the Cazadero Inn. You’ll also run into the Duncan Mills on River Road. This use to be the lumber mills for the area. If you have the time, be sure to go fishing in the river. The river is a great place to catch steelhead.
