Alexander Valley-Dry Creek Valley Ride For Beginners
This is a bike ride about 25 miles long. This is an excellent vineyard tour for novice bicyclists. There are only a few hills and the rest is an easy way to ride and try some of the greatest Sonoma County Wine. Begin at Healdsburg Plaza and onto Mills Street/Westside Road. Turn right on West Dry Creek. When you get to Yoakim Bridge Road make a right, then a right on Dry Creek Road. Turn left of Canyon and climb from Dry Creek Valley to Alexander Valley. When you get to Geyserville make a right. You’ll then go through the town of Geyserville. Once you hit Highway 128 make a left, then make a left on Geysers road and right on Red Winery Road. When you get to Pine Flat make a right, then merge onto Highway 128 and make a pit stop at Jimtown Store for refreshments. When you get back on Highway 128, make a right and go straight on Alexander Valley Road, then turn right on Lytton Station, then a right on Lytton Springs. When you get to Dry Creek make a left, then a right on Kinley, then another left onto Mill which heads into Healdsburg. For a few more miles, at the end of Kinley, go straight across Mill onto the Magnolia Road loop, which will bring you back to the Mill.
